Water Winner | Study Project & ID&T, 2013

In collaboration with event organizer ID&T, two colleagues of mine and I designed a concept for a tap. This tap distinguishes itself from its competitors through its game element. Festival visitors have to lift the lever up and down for five times in order to fill a cup with liquid. By using five different rows for different beverages, the machine requires no buttons and at the same time are intuitive rows created. A game element of this design increases people’s solidarity at a festival. The supply of liquids for the Water Winner is taken care by Bag in Boxes. This means that boxes are integrated in the design with bags that contain liquids. This Bag in Boxes can easily and quickly be replaced with new ones, which makes it easily applicable at festivals!
